A DATE FOR YOUR DIARY – June 2, 2010
This month, James won the Keyboard Final of the Royal Over-Seas League Annual Music Competition. This is a very significant win and bodes very well for James’ future as a pianist – which (of all his various musical disciplines) is his true passion.
All the section finalists come together for a grand final which takes place at the Queen Elizabeth Hall on Wednesday June 2nd 2010 at 7pm. It will be an inspiring evening of young talented musicianship and we thought you might like to have the date for your diary now – knowing how quickly the summer fills with things to do!
We are able to block-book tickets at half-price (i.e. £10 for a £20 seat) if we know numbers well in advance. We are also considering booking a coach from Rudgwick (depart about 4.45pm, home by midnight) which would work out at about £15 per passenger.
It would help us enormously if you could let us know straight away if there’s a possibility / likelihood of you wishing to come. It doesn’t need to be a firm commitment yet, but we need an indication so we can make fuller arrangements!
